The navy is deeper and richer in person than the photos showed, and it hasn't faded after three washes. My daughter drags it around the house all day, so it's clearly the softest thing she owns.
Bought two of these for my son's cot and they've held up through countless washes without pilling. The cotton is breathable enough that he doesn't wake up sweaty, which was my main worry. Tummy time on it works great too.
The navy is a deeper shade than the photos show, which I actually prefer since it hides spit-up stains. It's been through maybe six washes already and hasn't pilled or faded at all. My daughter drags it around the house now, so it's basically hers.
